Dime Dime Baby: The Original Video, the Guy and the Song

The dime dime baby video is a short party clip of a young man in a black polo shirt with "STAFF" printed on it: he dances across the dance floor of a quinceañera, takes a bite of pan dulce (Mexican sweet bread), walks up to the camera and stares straight into it, then dances back into the party. On TikTok it plays over the "dime, dime, baby" line of "BbY WOW" by KAROL G, Judeline & rusowsky, which is where the name comes from. In October 2026 it became an AI trend: people put someone else in his place, and Dime Dime Baby AI makes that version from one photo, with the real song in the video.

Where the Original Video Comes From

The original dime dime baby clip was posted on TikTok by @eve.el.cholo on July 24, 2025, with a Spanish caption saying it is the original video that made Eve Ramírez famous. By October 21, 2026 it had about 7.8 million views and 610,000 likes.

The clip runs about 9 seconds. It was filmed by the event's videographer in landscape, with party lights and guests in gowns. The first upload had its own audio, not the song. In 2026 people set the clip to the "dime, dime, baby" sound, and that version is the one everyone now knows.

Who Is the Dime Dime Baby Guy?

The guy in the dime dime baby video is Eve Ramírez, the young man in the black STAFF polo. Online he is known as "el de la mirada preñadora", Spanish slang for roughly "the guy with the smoldering stare". Yes, he is a real person and the original clip is real footage; the AI versions came more than a year later. That is all we share about him here: Dime Dime Baby AI has no connection to him.

What Song Is in the Dime Dime Baby Video?

The song in the dime dime baby video is "BbY WOW" by KAROL G, Judeline & rusowsky (written "BbY WOW", though most people type "baby wow" or "bby wow"). The "Dime, dime, baby" line comes at about 1:23 of the 3:46 track.

• Album: NO ME ARREPIENTO DE SENTIR TANTO by KAROL G, released August 7, 2026 on Bichota Records / Interscope (discography).
• Charts: No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs (chart dated August 29, 2026, report) and No. 1 on Spotify's global daily chart, first on August 28, 2026 (report).
• The TikTok sound: "sonido original – ElRolitas", a stretch of the studio track that includes the "dime, dime, baby" line, used in about 2.2 million videos as of October 2026. Many AI versions also use the sound from @elmariobrox's post.
• Listen: official visualizer on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music.

What does "dime dime baby" mean?

"Dime" is Spanish for "tell me", so "dime, dime, baby" means "tell me, tell me, baby". "BbY WOW" is a song about a heartbroken night at the club. Set over a guy calmly biting sweet bread and staring into a camera at a quinceañera (a 15th-birthday party), the line became the clip's name.

What Happens in the Scene, Beat by Beat

The dime dime baby scene has four beats, and the AI versions repeat them in the same order:

1. The entrance. He dances in across the floor toward the camera with a loose, confident shuffle.
2. The pan dulce bite. Without missing a step, he raises a piece of pan dulce and takes one unbothered bite.
3. The stare. He walks right up to the camera and holds a deadpan stare into the lens. This is the frame everyone screenshots.
4. Back to the party. He turns away and dances back into the party as if nothing happened.

How the AI Versions Took Off

The original was posted in July 2025. In 2026 people set it to the "dime, dime, baby" part of "BbY WOW", and that is when it started being called the dime dime baby video, the "BbY WOW guy" or "baby wow guy dancing".

In October 2026 the AI versions arrived: someone else takes his place in the same party scene and does the same entrance, bite, stare and turn to the same sound. A dad in a cowboy hat, a friend in a white shirt, pets standing on their hind legs. TikTok filled up with "dime dime baby ai tutorial" posts and comments asking how to make one.

• The biggest AI version we found is by @elmariobrox, posted October 17, 2026 with the caption "Dime dime baby": a mustached man in a black cowboy hat and a rooster-print shirt doing the whole scene, with about 1.7 million views by October 21, 2026.
• @ale12dup posted "Dime dime baby #ai" on October 14, 2026: a young man in a white shirt doing the bite and the stare in a different banquet hall.
• The sound is everywhere: the K-pop group BOYNEXTDOOR posted its own "dime dime baby" clip on October 17, 2026, with about 1.8 million views.

Other Names People Use for It

People search for the same clip under several names:

• dime dime baby video, dime dime baby trend, dime dime baby AI
• dime dime baby original, dime dime baby guy
• BbY WOW guy, bby wow guy, baby wow guy dancing
• "el de la mirada preñadora" (his Spanish nickname) and Eve Ramírez
• Dominican Papi AI dance (a name some English captions use)

Is It the Same as the BbY WOW Dance?

No. "BbY WOW" has a second, different dance trend: two friends from the group LOS MENOR3S grooving backstage with their hands on their heads. The dime dime baby video is the quinceañera clip with the bite and the stare, and that is the scene Dime Dime Baby AI makes.

What the AI Version Keeps, and What Comes From Your Photo

A dime dime baby AI video is not a face swap and does not copy the original clip frame by frame. An AI video model (Seedance 2.0 Mini by ByteDance) generates the scene new around your photo, from a beat-by-beat description of it.

From the trend:

• A quinceañera party hall at night: a big dance floor, colored party lights, round tables, guests in gowns and suits, photographers' lights.
• The four beats: the entrance, the pan dulce bite, the stare into the lens, the dance back into the party.
• The real song: the "dime, dime, baby" part of "BbY WOW", added to the video on our server.

From your photo:

• Your face, hair, body and outfit.
• Or your pet, standing upright and dancing on its hind legs, front paws working like hands.

The AI sometimes keeps parts of your photo's own background, so the backdrop may not match the party hall exactly.

Make Your Own Version From One Photo

To make your own, upload one photo in the generator on the homepage, pick 6, 10 or 15 seconds, and wait a few minutes. The 6-second version is the bite and the stare; 10 and 15 seconds play the whole scene. Every video comes as a vertical MP4 with the song already in it. The full walkthrough, with photo tips and posting tips, is in how to make a dime dime baby AI video.
